How to remove rubrail, and where to buy black??

I need to remove the rubrail on my 04 RXP, whats needed? Im getting the ski painted, and want to replace the inner strip of rubrail with black instead of the yellow? Anyone know where to get this stuff at a reasonable price?
    Thanks in advance
    Andy

They just pop on. You can just get a screwdriver under oneside or the other and just pull them out. If you are reall anal. Pull the front nose piece off and then slide out.
When you get the new ones. Just line them up and tap kinda hard with your hand to set them in place.

    bumper

yip just pull them out from one end if its a cold day pour hot water on them first as they get hard and can be brittle in cold weather, same goes for install hot water then tap the new strip in place.
I think they are not to expensive from seadoo.

So you think seadoo offers the center section of the rail in black? Ive only seen them in color, like green, red, yellow.

Doc I know someone recently posted pics of a RXT that he switched from a Black rail to yellow so they might be a market for you to trade yours for black.

Now if yours was Cosmos Blue I might trade ya

You need to order GTI rub rails they are black. I think they are 20 bucks or so each side and the rear piece is 15. You will need to trim the side pieces about a foot or so.
Do a board search, you can probably find the part numbers.

Go to your local Sea-Doo Dealer and order rub rails for a GTI. The come in black. Order both side rails and the rear rub rail. Remove the rounded nose piece and the two rear corner peices--pull out the old rub rail and install the new ones--they just push in. If I remember correctly you might have to cut a few inches off the side rails.
