A cam swap is very easy.

    Remove the rocker cover

    Remove the rocker shaft

    Remove the cam chain tensioner

Remove the access plug at the back of the head

Remove the 3 5mm allen head bolts from the cam sprocket. Remove the cam sprocket.
(be sure to put a piece of paper towel below them so you don't drop a bolt)

There is a cam keeper at the end of the cam that just lifts out (front part of the engine)

    Slide the cam out.

Reverse proceedure to reinstall. You will need new rocker shaft bolts upon reassembly.

Stock cams should be retarded. Rotax Racing cams like to be advanced sligtly. You know you have it right when your compression is 135 PSI

Also if you have a friend who is a dwarf, it is very helpful in gettting the cam chain tensioner plug out and then back in. You are looking for someone who is no taller than 2 ft. so you can stick him or her in the hull with the allen key.
