what do you need to do to install a cam
what is involved in a cam install.....do you need to pull the engine to install a cam??? do you ned to pull the head??? thinking about 1 now that they are back on the planet as far as price ..still way in the clouds but in the atmoshpere

Do a search Shibby posted a detailed how to a while back.
It is very easy to do and takes about an hour.

A cam swap is very easy.
Remove the rocker cover
Remove the rocker shaft
Remove the cam chain tensioner
Remove the access plug at the back of the head
Remove the 3 5mm allen head bolts from the cam sprocket. Remove the cam sprocket.
(be sure to put a piece of paper towel below them so you don't drop a bolt)
There is a cam keeper at the end of the cam that just lifts out (front part of the engine)
Slide the cam out.
Reverse proceedure to reinstall. You will need new rocker shaft bolts upon reassembly.

Probably a stupid question, but is there any timming that needs to be done after the install?
