wondering on what people have seen on the performance difference between the riva power filter kit and the r&d short intake other than that the r&d can easily be made at the shop for a 1/4 the cost any info would help. -jake

    Welcome to the boards!

Many riders simply bypass both units and either go with a 4" setup w/ Kanaflex hose, or the Riva Rear Air...

thats what i have found on here assuming that you get more air flow with the 4'' but are they routing it up to the front of the hull do you know of any threads that have pics to get a clue of whats goin on with it? and yes my washers already went out with 14 hours on it wish i would of known about those before i even took it out but then again the first time out with it it was 4-6 footers out there and was getting about 7 feet of air with 0 hours so i know it wasn't good but i had fun

ahhhh, and we all wonder why washers are so delicate on the 4tecs...
welcome to the boards!!!! you will see quicky that everything you ever wanted to know is here.
    search
    "kanaflex" or "4 inch intake"
most people are either buying the riva rear intake, or making some variation of it. the 4" intakes are mostly being routed to the front of the ski, near where the original intake was.

Well thanks for the credit, but I still have the stock intake. And that's the story I'm gonna tell my dealer until the warranty is up.

And my spectre filter shipped today
