    Do I need a Waterbox??

Ok, probably a stupid question, but do I really need it? Yes it would definately be louder, probably illegal as hell. I do know that the waterbox helps to regulate the sonic wave of the 2 cycle engine. But by doing what exactly. My ski is not quite stock, and my riding style is basically an on/off switch. Has anyone ever played to see if top end suffers, low suffers, engine blows bubbles??

Keep it there...... If you remove it your engine will turn in reverse and you will only go backwards LOL

On my General project I do not have a water box. It is loud as hell. If you do this make sure you keep the rubber J hose on it, Or make another J pipe as this helps keep the water from coming in the exhaust and running into you engine. Wich can lead to a very bad condition (Hydo Lock). Wich has also been know to cause an excessive spending of cash on the ski for more upgrades.

I currently have a performance waterbox. I really don't expect any, since it is a 2 stroke, I was thinking I read somewhere you needed one. Just wondering if anyone has experimented with it. I know straight pipes help a V8, but I'm along way from there.

Sorry, posted under my brothers again.

spending massive amounts of your hard earned cash is the only known cure for hydo lock.
