    A small hidden treasure, kinda...

As some of you know, I scored this for a great price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...198816249&rd=1

It happens to have a good crankshaft and cases.
2 pistons were scored, as were the cyls that housed them.
1 piston and cyl are in xlint shape.
    All 3 heads are perfect.
While scraping the gaskets off the base of the cyls, I noticed this 1 little gem wasn't stock. It's nicely polished with the exhaust port worked. It also happens to be bored 1.5mm oversized.
Some idiot installed a 1.5mm oversized, port and polished cylinder, right between 2 stock bore and finished ones. DUHHH!!!!!
And not only that, but they installed the head gasket the wrong way, prob leading to the overheat and scoring of the slug and jug.
Kind of a hidden treasure, but not really without the other 2....

Notice how much of the cyl sleeve was removed in the first pics? They cut out some of the "skirt" on the intake port. And even took a little off the sides. Look closely and you'll see the "w" shape along the sides.

Whats the exhaust port height of the ported cylinder? Measuring down from the top of the cyl.
    Nice find btw.

Kind of a hidden treasure, but not really without the other 2....
But with the one good one, two others can be replicated.

Theres no doubt in my mind that you can do it yourself. Just takes the right tools and a good amount of time. You have the pattern to work with.

I noticed that. The exhaust flange gave it away. I'm just curious, and comapring notes from other 750s.

BTW its up 1.3 mm from stock
