    Smoked 2 pistons

I caught it quick but I still toasted the pto and center cylinders! I thought was running rich .
I used 750 carbs when i went from the 650 and I bumped the mains from 90 to 92.5 and left the lows at 75 but apparently I still missed the mark for some reason so I was wondering what jets anyone wold suggest?
mods are pro cdi and OP F/S's and no choke plates the mag cyl was fine but not rich I see xlint is running super high jetting 120 hi and 85 lows thanks for any input Z

    BUMMER man.

Unfortunately, there is no right or wrong with jetting as you know. What works for one guy won't work for the next due tomods, fuel, air temps, elevation etc.
You're just going to have to give it the fuel it wants.
I would get VERY familiar with piston wash.
Did you check the 750 carbs to make sure they were clean and that the needle seat was operating correctly

What are the rpm's of the motor where you spend most of your time riding? Also, what was max rpm?

    Z,
our RAD has been off the hook lately. If you had even a MINOR air leak (say 1psi over 2 beers) then it's likely things could add up.

Was this a new setup, or one you've ran a while?

with the new CDI i was hitting 7200 and I spend my RPM time all over the place turning and burning or short high speed runs I'm going to post a pic because I think it may be a leaky head gasket issue? i saw some chips at the edge of 1 piston I just resealed the motor so crank seals aren't a concern but I will probably pull her apart again Thanks Z

Does your cdi have a stock tune in it??? If you are SURE that the crank is sealed up, maybe too much timing? Just a thought..
