don't think that one was real, but it can be done. I have submerged my gpr before. Put the nozzle all the way down, throw your weight towards the way your going to corner, back end will lift out, nose will dig in.
Now with a ski that has reverse, yes you can submerge it any time you want. Did you watch that seadoo one? You go about 30 mph, yank the reverse, it will pitch the back end of the ski in the air, the nose will go under, then once you got it lined up to go under, you slam it back in forward and pin it. Sometimes the back end likes to go left or right on you, like in the video, and you end up upside down or it will toss you. But once you submerge, if you stay on the gas, it will keep going down and down and down till you let off the gas.

on my ski when it was stock all I would do is put the trim all the way down standup lead forward and to the left and nail the gas and it will do under! you need to have some speed if you want to go all the way under.

    FYI,
The water stream behind a boat is fully aerated, and contains mass amounts of air...the ski literally sinks, once it looses it's forward momentum.

VERY good point. If you take the air intakes under water, ONCE, you should level off afterwards and let all the water out of the ski...It takes on MASSIVE amounts of water.
