RXP - umi steering ??
does the hood hit the handlebars when opening and closing? Mine almost hits, but i am still able to open and close the hood.
whats the difference between the umi steering rod end and the stock steering rod end? ive heard some people just use the stock but there has to be reason umi includes one in the kit. can anyone compare them side by side?
I'm also looking for the umi bracket that holds the dess post. If you have one please pm me.

Mine are real close. I just adjusted them a little. You have to close the
hood nice and slow as not to slam it into the bars.

i can't close my hood unless my handlebars are dead straight. as long as they are straight i can slam it closed

That is OK, Just contact UMI. I had the Dess post and the choke post on the otherside missing and they sent them to me for like $15 a piece.

the cable end on the UMI is a Hiem joint (sp), and the stock cable end is just a machined piece of alum. UMI swivel joint is better!...PR...
