    Yes, maybe .5 mph.

Make sure you remove all of the sloppy silicone Honda applied while your at it.

Cool, thanks!!!!!!! I cleaned up all the silicone when I bought it. I just wanted to make sure that it was worth the effort.

I modified my ride plate and saw a huge increase in ride quality/splash. I could not see any difference from filling in the bolt holes.

I promised I would not post any pics due to I had some "professional" help.

It made a big difference in ride quality, as in... when my Wife first rode a 1/2 mile on the back and said, " Wow what did you do"?

The chop now breaks more under the hull instead of against the bow [more bowrise].

It's still not perfect, but much better [but not any faster].

So who's the professional, how much does he charge and will he do more? Which ski do you have?

See Nitro [Shawn] who has an inexpensive ride plate mod that he does and I modified the plate's chines [steps] and plate end after he sent it back to me.
I will be glad to explain what I added to the mod after he does his part.
BTW, mine is not faster, just rides much better in chop.

Rodney, I have filled my holes and like others maybe .05+/- gain. I talked to Jim (Performance) about cleaning up the rough casting of the OEM plate and doing some of his magic on it for me awhile ago but I just dont know if its worth it on the Hondas. I know that J-Me had Jim modify his and i sent him a PM a week ago about what he got out of it....but havent had any response back from him????? I in the mean time since i was redoin my impeller yanked off the rideplate and hit it with a sander and then some 1500 wet/dry and then hit it with my air drill with some polishing compound, it now looks like a mirror.

Now here is a question for everybody....What about putting/mounting skegs on the plate? Anybody tried this? Pros? Cons?
