    8100rpm full stage 3 71.8

    Just would like some thoughts
    i'm running stage 3 07 rxp
b-kit, piranha i/c, riva stage 1 plus ecu, skat 14/19, fpu, 50lbs inj, 4"air kanaflex, ssteel wear ring.
I'm getting 12lbs of boost at the manifold, but only turning 8050 to 8200 if i'm lucky at 71.8 max. My guess is i need to pitch the prop however can such a little thing pick my perfromance up to 8450rpm and 76 to 78mph.

You are about 10 mph short of where you should be with all that hardware ... you should be running 80 - 83+ mph and turning a 15/20 Solas 4 blade (or 15/19 3 blade) at 8500 rpms. If you are only turning 8100 rpms with a 14/19 (exactly what 14/19 - 4 blade, 3 blade?) there is something else way wrong. Be more specific about your setup, you are running a fpu?? My GUESS is your 'tune' or fuel setup is waaay off and (hopefully) you are extremely rich on top. Do you have an AFR gauge hooked up? How is your fpu setup? Which ECU are you running? If you get your 'tune' (AFR) right, then dump that Skat prop and put in a Solas 15/20 4 blade, check rpms, likely will have to bend a few mm into the trailing edge, run an 81mm nozzle, and you should be going 80+ in decent weather ...

Don't forget that the riva rear air intake and salt water are worth about 2-3 mph. Like Vern suggested, check your AFR/fuel setup and get a different prop.

its a 3 blade skat 14/19 and has never been pitched, the fpu (fuel presure unit) is running at 60lbs and i am also running the 50lbs injectors i was told to keep it because of the b-kit is this true? Maybe i should go back to the stock fuel presure unit??

If you are running the Riva ECU with the 50# injectors then go back to the stock fuel pressure regulator.

Yes, many of us are doing that.

You are flooding your engine by also running the rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Get that thing off of there ASAP!!!

You answered my question before i even posted it. Thanks ok so its fine to run stock fuel controller with this setup ans b-kit?
I should let you guys know im all about take off not top end as we rarely have a flat day here in australia (perth) so in saying that should i keep the skat and go for a pitch or jump right into a solas 4 blade 15/20
