Talking Watercraft World Dream Demo results on FX-SHO

I just recived my Jan. Watercraft World Issue with the results from the Dream Demo- - For a FX-SHO Top speed-66.6 mph, 0 to 30-1.9 seconds, 0 to 60- 5.4 seconds, 30 to 50- 1.7 seconds Looks like this ski falls right in line with the rxt-x-255 and the Kaw 250X I was hoping for a little bit more but with only 210-215 hp I guess that pretty good since the other two have 250 to 255 hp. The aftermarket people will have another pwc now to trick out with go fast goodies in the near future. Tommy Jordan

    JetSkier11,
I just spoke with the dealer I'm buying my ski from and he tells me that if a dealer, at any other location in the states are first to receive their shipment then all other dealers have to recieve their shipment also within one week of first dealer recieving shipment! Your dealer should have theirs very soon. He will have his next week.
    Yippeeee-Yiiii-Yooooooo!

Saw one yesterday... reverse operation and lever location was a bit disappointing, so was the small storage area. Other than that it was pretty nice.

I'm not too happy with the Dream Demo #'s... not after seeing the Boattest video and expecting this thing to out accel everything else.

I still think it has great potential though... just didn't think I would have to mod it to keep up w/ a stock RXT-X. Burning a gallon more fuel per hour to boot, even @ cruise speed. It's over $1000 cheaper than the TX though... that's nice.

I think the future is bright for us die hard yamaha fans.To be as competetive as the Fx-sho is with a bigger de-tuned engine, simply means horsepower capability will allow this ski to far surpass the rest.Yamaha has finally come up with a long overdue winner "BET".Lets just hope they carry through with an updated 1.8 Nano Gpr next year
