Are you guys using battery chargers?

That's my question. Is anyone using something like battery tender while not using there skis. I don't know how quickly the batteries on the skis can draw down. I may go at most 3 weeks between use. Thanks

    Mike

low amp float or tender chargers are often a good thing to use. I know BRP says not to hook up battery chargers or to jump the skis, but that warning is in reference to high amp chargers(DO NOT JUMP START YOUR SKI).

On guy here uses solar tenders on his ski, I am actually think about getting a couple of those for my skis.

I have been using this one for three years not one battery failure. I keep up to four skis plugged in all the time in the summer. And the same for winter storage out of the skis.

I have seen the solar chargers mounted on the top of in-closed trailers to charge 4 wheeler batteries. They work good. I was going to get the battery tender brand one. They are float chargers.

"Battery Tender" brand is the best!! If my ski is not in the water it's hooked up to the battery tender. No battery problems in 2 years.

I pull my battery at the end of every season and then like once a month I use a small bettery charger and charge it for a few hours. Never had a problem doing it this way...
