    Talking A Dealer's Two Cents.

    Well I brought my RXP in for my 10 hours service today,and the mechanic told me that my Riva Pwer Filter is not a good idea beacuse I could possibley blow a piston.....HaHaHaHa..I Think its BUUULL SH*T!!!

    I think you are right.

    He would have been more convincing if he told you that you could hydrolock the motor easier.

    Would be easier to hydrolock with the stock intake IMO.

    When my ski went to the dealer here in oz the mechanic loved what i had done and wanted to buy my ski

    Hydrolocking would be due to water ingestion from the air intake right??

    If the mechanic thought that its not good for your ski i wouldn t be going back in a hurry they have no idea.

    even better.. an employee at the auto store where i bought my aluminum joiner for my custom 4" intake .. he said his friend put an air intake on his ski and it seized the motor. he told me not to put an air intake on a 'jet ski' because i would DEFINITELY blow the motor. i said okay buddy and went ahead and bought the part. good times
