    straight port intake

    wouldnt a straght port intake work alot better then ones made more like factory where the air has a chance to swirl around loosing velocity

    yeah same thing ud put under ur carb haha wouldnt be hard at all to make either in my thoughts

    As long as the curve is gradual and the finish is smooth, it doesn't hurt it much. Our intake looks like 3/8 of an LS1 intake and they were exceedingly well. The 5.3 truck intake has straighter runners but doesn't make more power.

    That is true, but the 5.3 does suffer a lack of cubes and cam when compared to the LS1. And the stock Sea Doo intake has got too be pretty good after all people are running close to 3x stock boost levels with no boom.

    yeah u all have points i was just thinkin about takin say a vtech motors intake or some sort of import and chop the 4th cylinder and retro fit it to the seadoo

    I was actually referring to them both being dyno'd on the same engine. Many thought that the truck intake would be an upgrade over the car intake, but it turns out it wasn't.
