    Riva or Race Engineering Block Offs??

    I know this must have been over a few times, but what do you guys think is the best OPAS block off for and rxp Riva or Race Engineering?

    What are you using the ski for? Closed course and sanctioned racing limits you to the Riva's. RE on the other hand lengthen you ski's planing surface increasing stability at high speeds(like 70+).

    I ride offshore 100% of the time so better stability would be great.

    Then the RE's are your ticket, they reduce porpousing.

    Do you notice a difference in performance??I got my RE's in yesterday for my RXP and im installing tomorow...N Hopefuly a test run too!!!

    Since you are gaining about 1 mph and not gaining any HP you probably won't notcie the preformance gains except on your GPS, but I'll let you know as soon as I get mine and get my ski wet

    RE's are expensive but mine fit & look great, can't wait till I get to try them..

    i have the Riva ones right now, but ive been thinking of going with the RE's also. Are you guys seeing more top speed when using the RE's. I also do most of my riding off shore.
    I would think that because the RE's are longer, they would slow you down a bit because there is more surface area touching water. (I'm thinking sponson placement)

    You wont go faster with them. they will handle better though.
    IF you have Rivas and the ski does not bounce, you dont need RE's.
