    riva ecu do i keep knock sensor adapter?

    I am fitting ecu etc to an 04 which currently has the loom adapter (resistor) in place do I keep this or remove it?

    you keep it as the ECU already has the knock sensor update flash on it.

    i had to remove mine, on my 05 gtx, but i was fitting a rotax racing ecu and the instructions told me to do so, i would hang fire till jerry see's this, thread because i dont think you have to do it with a riva, regards bill

    On an 04 RXP with the Riva ECU you must keep the piggy back knock sensor update harness in place.

    With Rotax Racing ECU the update harness must be removed.
