    What's the coolant passage direction on the GPR

    I'm trying to figure out what direction the water takes after it enters the exhuast manifold.. Does it get split between going up the manifold jacket and entering the exhuast port jacket on the cylinders.
    Does the water work its way up the cylinder jacket to the head and exit the top into the secod portion of the exhuast?

    Only a small amount which I think is for air bleeding mainly.

    Thanks Duke. I guess that would follow thermal dynamics, in which the path of heat is upwards?? It enters the hottest point (exhuast manifold/ports) and works it way towards the cooler areas?
    I've noticed the head gasket has different size holes stamped in it; this must be to equalize the water distribution around the head?

    Ps.what advantage is there to having the head outlet go straight overboard? Doesn't this limit the amount of water the pipe gets?

    Either that or to slow it down enough to actually absorb heat.

    Seems to heat the exhaust up a little more causing a quicker sonic wave in the pipe. More rpms.

    Does the newer 05 head gasket make a difference; seems that it has larger water passages??
    Does it work with the pre 05 heads??

    Supposed to cool off #3 better. It will work with pre 05 heads, I use it on my 01 bored to 1300. Lowell reccomends it as well.
