Arrow Converting carb'ed Polaris to fuel injected

I know this is not how most of you guys think, but would it be possible to install Fitch versions of the carb'ed motors into the older domestic models?

In the case of this '96 Huricane, would a Fitch 777cc from a Virage 800 fit? As in, would the motor mounts, drive shaft coupling, and so on line up?

100HP injected in place of 95HP (stock) carb'ed.

I know the fuel tank would need to be retrofitted for the Fitch fuel pump, along with mounting the Fitch ECU and wiring.

I know a Fuji triple has been shoehorned into another Hurricane, but I am thinking more along the lines of how close to a drop in fit it would be.

Another interesting direction, but more work, I am sure, would be fitting an MSX150 weber motor into a twin domestic hull, like the Hurricane. 150HP...

What is the engine weight comparision between the domestic twin and the weber?

You can also mod the 700 twin carbed unit, not so lucky with the fuely.

I mean who doesn't love some twin pipes, bigger carbs, 777cc's, etc.
On another note the 700 sure doesn't need much more than 95/100 HP because she's a handfull in the ugly stuff for anybody over 175 pounds.

Killer fun lake boat for them hot days bouy riding though...
    Is that a good sentence?

I'm looking to find that 5 hp and probably some more with some simple mods.
