Ive been thinking of changing my steering to a UMI system, Is it going to be to much of a racey feeling ? or is it going to still have a that recreational feeling to it.

it's a TOTALLY different feeling..... best money i ever spent on my RXP.
in fact, i would sacrifice 2-3 mph to have UMI steering instead, LOL

I love the UMI on my RXP too.
Just got it for the GPRXP but haven't installed it yet.

I like it a bunch, but I think I had a more playfull fun time with the stock steering. I actually liked the Riva kit with a KVPI finger throttle a bunch.
It is really hard to explain the feel. The UMI changes the angle, of the steering and makes it harder to spin the ski around to play with it.
BUT,In rough water and hard fast riding conditions there is nothing better. You feel so much safers with them! I mean I run 75+ in rough stuff and I feel that I am stuck to the ski with the UMI.
