Help With Cleaning Ski
I have an 05 RXT red/silver seadoo and everytime I come back from a ride I look at the seat and see white sunscreen that has come off my passenger and my legs and onto the seat. I have tryed everything to get it off such as car wash and armorall (plastic/vinyl protectant) and plenty others even changeing the type of sunscreen, but nothing seems to get it off. Any advice on what to use would be appreciated as ruins the look of the ski.
Also what would you recommend to use as polish for the ski? I know not to poilish the bottom of the hull and at the moment I have some cheap stuff that I got from supercheap auto here in AUstralia, but nothing seems to bring it up looking like new again.
ANy help would be great.

For the sunscreen I would use a vinyl cleaner and a nylon type brush (nothing too rough) and try rubbing it out.
For polish I would use boat wax (not on hull). Use a cleaner wax first by hand and I usually use a buffer to apply to final wax. Works real well for me.

meguirs and mothers are by far the two best wax and cleaner companies out their. I do detailing on the side during the summer and I swear by Mother's, both are GREAT though.

Don't wear sunscreen. That's what I do.

Use This Stuff...
Don't use sunscreen that is lotion. Use this stuff, It will not come off like the lotion suncreen your using. It looks just like underarm deoderant because it comes in a wide stick shape. It goes on clear also and contains no oil.
Also because it comes in a wide stick form you never have to touch the sunscreen with your hands. I love this stuff and it can't spill and make a mess..

I use the spray on Bull Frog. Doesn't leave anything on the seat.

Thanks for the info everybody. I went to the shop today and they had no marine wax what so ever. I ended up getting the mothers carnauba cleaner wax and some vinyl cleaner. have not tried it yet but is this the right choice you think?

Mothers is ALWAYS the right choice. Just be patient with the vinyl cleaning. It will come out though. Like these guys said, be careful what sunscreen you use-or non at all like me
I use marine wash to clean it first, than I use a wax somewhat like what you purchased. I apply it by hand, and than buff it out with a wheel. Comes out looking new. My ski is 04 and the paint still looks new-somethings working.
