New project 2000 1300 gpr "Jump"
picked up a mega bargain today as a new project and a good home for my non pv 1300r engine that was removed from my 05 boat thats sitting at bottom of my bed gathering dust
the guy was selling to whole ski with the engine in boxes which suited me fine and saved me removing it from hull to drop new lump in..
got it home and pulled the stickers and mats off and found the foot wells had small blisters in paint in footwells but did not burst but felt hard
so i will have top deck painted ready for new seat cover decals and hydroturf mats..
want to run my 1300 on carbs and stock 1200 timming exhaust ect so will be looking for some carb setting soon and already had RHD+WFO+DUKE tell me its possible...thanks guys
looking to set this ski up for rough water/winter/ backup ski so dont want to spend a fortune just yet or go down the speed route on this one but i know i will get carried away
will set shoe transom in 5200 and get my old 1200 grate on for now while its getting ready for paint work, damn shame about tiny blisters or it would had been paint perfect other than that.
will post better pics later if anyone is interested in progress only got a snap in garage when light was going on us and it had to get away..
any imput you have would be great

Looks great Paul!!!! Didn't like the silver at first but now its grown on me.
One of my 2001 hulls has small blisters like that too. No idea what caused it.

Running 74@7290rpm (summer#'s) and all was done was head(170),keyway(4),Jim's plate,1200grate,14/20,drag setup.
It should be at 76+ in this cold weather with the VF3's and the 14/23 coming real soon.
You'll like how it hits when you get a keyway and head done and your able to get the jetting right.
