Na, it was a stocker.. I did alot of offshore riding with it and numerous amount of times the craft plowed staight through the waves and stuff.. Water would be settling in the front compartment and we could never figure out how water was getting in the engine compartment, even after tightnen down the seat and double clamping all important hoses.. Just hoping this plate cures the problem..

The plate looks simple enough and they have changed my plugs twice now. I didn't even get a chance to run the last set and they were changed again. My dealer seems to be taking care of the recalls as they come down the line and they know the excuse that it's a race ski isn't cutting it with anyone. As long as they take care of the problems I can't complian I knew that this was the first run of this ski and bugs in the real world don't come up in a test lab. They also did the throttle bracket mod on my ski.

Interestingly enough, I just picked up my U250x from Riva after they replaced my siezed supercharger. It appears salt water was ingested prior to the recent fix and as a consequence siezed my supercharger.
Kawi is apparently providing warranty replacement of the supercharger based upon a "case by case" review.
