    Driveshaft question

Can someone clarify something for me please. I have a 01 gp 1200 r
I just worked out a deal and am getting an 05 pump, extension, etc..
He was asking me if I also need the pump driveshaft from the 05 boat???
Do I need it? do I use mine? I am assuming I need it since it is being extended, correct?

(No such thing as a stupid question. Just stupid people asking questions)
