    Steering nozzle for GP1300R

The stock OEM nozzle is plastic. This is about the only thing that concerns me... is there a good reason for it?
I do see aftermarket nozzles in the store, what are the benefits of changing the nozzle to an AF one? and which one is best?...Thanks...PR...

yup. I would get an aftermarket nozzle. I don't trust that plastic one.

reinforce that tunnel too PR, and get rid of that stock grate

Is the ski going to be left stock? Yes? No problem. No? Get an aftermarket one.
Is the ski going to be wave jumping? Yes, Get an aftermarket one. No? It will be fine.

I imagine that I could jump waves and such when we go out to the ocean, but it won`t be very often. I`m normally cruising the rivers and bays...I saw that one of the nozzles were extended and wnated to know what benefit this is?...PR...

PR any claims to added speed with the change of a steering nozzle are false. Added peace of mind from them not breaking priceless. I have had a few and I have found the Pro-Tec to be the best, the short one I believe it is +12mm. The reason I favor these is fit, The R&D and Riva tend to have a sloppy fit at the bolts.

    Here you go http://www.pro-tecperformance.com/pumpcomponents.htm
I use the 11-9443 it states for the xlt, it is shorter to clear the reverse bucket on those models. I like it because it is closer to stock length.
