tiny bubbles in jet ??? why?

just an observation...today i guess i was riding slow enough to look back .i have seen it but never really thought about it ...if you look at the jet of water coming out of your ski ..it is very airated...i am not sure where the air get in and mixes ...but as small as the bubbles look it seems to be before the prop .... it looks like the water going into my protien skimmer in my salt tank ....i thought that any air against the surface of the prop was bad causing slip the same as cavitation .....just wondering why the jet of water is so airated ...i guess inquiring minds want to know

that's probably coming from the exhaust and just mixing with the water as it leaves the pump.

Water being pushed by the tips of the prop is actually being boiled producing the bubbles. I guess the presssure of the blade pushing the water causes it to heat up enough to boil and cause bubbles.

I always assumed it was from the bailors. Even though you probably don't have water in the ski hull, they're still sucking, but all they're getting is air and injecting it into the jet pump.

no alcohol abuse ...here the bailers are after the prop the bailers are nothing more than a venturi that makes sence just amazed that they inject so much water into the jet ....why does some of the water come out of the nozzle when you flush .....is it just back feeding

There are 2 tubes in the nozzle that pull water out of the hull for the bailors. There is another hole in the jet pump that supplies water to the intercooler and exhaust manifold. When you flush, water goes backwards out of this feed hole inside the pump.

blades are not heating up the water to boil it. they are reducing pressure so much to cause bubbles to form.
in a vaccum you can boil water at room temperature. same theory. blades are causing a vaccum.
