RXT-X boarding ladder?
Why did sea-doo leave off the boarding ladder on the rxt-x? I was this close to buying one and even had a deal set up and when I went and saw it and the colors are just plain jane, then my other half noticed the missing ladder and I left with my RXT and my 5800 dollars I was going to spend on it..

BRP Giving you less for more.
What can you say. I guess they thought if you wanted more HP you would not a ladder. Get it, LESS FOR MORE. BRP wins again!

Yea I couldnt believe it when my GF pointed that out,my dealer didnt even want to install one for free and I was ready to make the deal until then. I came home with my rxt and my $5800...
Seems as if he would've put one on there to make a sell, guess he thinks there just gonna FLY out the door.

Rutcutter - did I read your post correctly? You drove to the dealer with your RXT and was going to buy a RXT-X but the ladder not being thrown in was cause to drive back and call off the deal? It might have even cost you $20 in gas just to lug yours down there. Man, from some threads I'm feeling that people are expecting these things to be given to them. There might be some left overs or some sitting lonely in the dealerships this summer but I'm here in the NW and the Portland boat show had 2 Seadoo dealers w/ no Xs because they haven't shipped to them yet...dry as a bone over here (though it's record rain).

Maybe the RXT-X is being considered like a race edition where you get no A/C or radio to keep the weight down so they dropped the ladder? Kidding of course, but I can see them arguing that point and making it up as they are asked the question. Or they'll say that BRP opted for the VTS instead of the ladder.

I'll live without the ladder and take the X
