1050 tear down high detail pix

Did the tear down today. Here's what I found. It obviously lost the rod bearing, and the mains on either side. The other rods and mains are good...what a shame. Tomorrow I'll talk to the machinist that did the work on the top of my 780 and see how much $$$ were talking about, might send it out for rebuid.

    CYLINDERS

Here's the cylinders. Turns out the MAG is worse than I thought. Lost a piece of the skirt and banged it up a little. I'll either resleeve or replace depending on cost. The other two look good, just need honong and new rings of course. The first two pix are MAG, second two CEN, last two PTO.

    CASES

I think the cases are OK. Picture one looks like a crack but it's not.

They're 009's. I'll probaly have it re-sleeved locally but feel free to PM me some prices on cyl and/or crank.

BTW What's the price/availability of OEM domes?

I think I saw the post in Classified section, do you actually know the guy? I could use one cylinder and two domes so I'll keep him in mind.

I think I just scored some spare parts. I just replied to a CL ad asking $100.00 for these parts.
