    just a thought? ultrarxp

    strictly for off shore racing kawasaki's ultra hull is the best for handling and hook up... what sort of performance gains or losses would i be looking at if i were to put the 215 rxp engine in?? bear in mind the amount of easily accesible aftermarket parts for the 215 engine compared to the kawasaki????

    i just dont see how turbos are reliable at all.. maybe in the calm but when u have up to 8 foot waves and chop all the time i dont see how the turbo would be reliable enough...

    Reliable...... like ceramic supercharger washers or belt's? Turbo's are designed and normally do last longer than the life of an engine. How many supercharged vehicles Vs. turbo do you see on the road
    They do lag a little more off the line vs a supercharger, see if you can spot the lag in this video http://youtube.com/watch?v=vDDomMjePMY

    lol... true true u have a great point.. but im not talking about the turbo itself... im sure the turbo is strong.. maybe too strong... take a supercharged waverunner vs a tubro waverunner... in chop and run it wot for one hour..... wot.... there no way the turbo will still have pistons or anything else... im worried about the engine blowing not the turbo... so as for reliability in a SAFE boost setting i think the supercharger is more reliable..... drag .. thats totally different but for endurance in rough water... im thinking sc?????
