I tryed search first but did not find the answer. I am installing Fizzle setup and I want to know if I need to apply or use some kind of silicone between the metal pipes and couplers??????? I prepfer not too, but if you know that I am going to have boost leak issue then tell me what product I need to use.

You don't need anything extra. I use silicone as an extra precaution. I learned this from Jay (05RXPnoob) when he said it's a good idea for 10psi+ of boost.

    thanks James,

I fitted everything last night and is going to be good fit. I am adding a piece to the bracket that will make it mount very nice. I just thought before I tighten all the hoses that I would be sure not to need to add something to help with boost leak.

I put the silicone on mine--no boost leaks here.

I just sprayed windex on the inside of the couplers and slid them on the pipes. Once you get everything tightened up the windex will dry out and form a seal. I know it works because after I take off the clamps to remove the pipes it takes a little muscle and twisting to break the seal formed by the windex and get the coupler off the pipe. By doing this you don't have to deal with messy silicone. Fizzle provides good clamps for the pipes too, and I haven't had any issues. Only problem I had was I forgot to silicone the stock IC blockoff when I installed the kit. That spot is a must for silicone.

I just did what the directions said and used glass cleaner. I finished up my install last night of the IC. After I made an adapter for my bracket and started tightening everything up it seemed to be ok. All I lack is the block off and waiting for my boost gage and strainer.

    appreciate the comments

you might send jfizzlejr a pm and see if he is interested in selling you what you need. if not he might can direct you in the right directions. I think if you know what exactly you need you can find it at siliconeintakes.com
