Concept design (RXP)
Was fiddling around on a seating idea for the RXP and came up with this design.
I figure customized parts can be produced by mastering a negative mold from digital files and milling with cnc machine, then cast with 8+lb flexible polyurethane and a vacuuformed pva or fiberglass understructure. Only thing required after that is a complimentary covering.
So if you have money coming out your ears and the wife lets you go for something really different, contact me

One based on weight vs. one for comfort.
The model is designed in three pieces, top, mid and lower.
The 'understructure' or 'shell' could be designed in such a way to allow a 1/2" or less of foam on the areas that don't support the rider, or, a smooth gelcoat finish ready for matching/custom paint thus casting the main seat with enough foam for comfort.
This would mean there would have to be two 'plugs' or 'masters' made for either of the options.
Keep in mind this is a concept for now, however, if custom seats were something of interest to a few, I would consider the investment of time to render out a prototype.
