    Ocean Pro Vortex

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge or experiance with Ocean Pro Vortex flame arrestors. I am considering installing them on a 95 750 with stock 38 carbs. Is the gain in HP as advertised ( 2 HP gains per cylinder) and if using did you have to do anything with jetting or any other set up?

Yes ,you'll have to rejet,as you'll be getting more air flow.Sometime next week I be posting the Original Factory sheet that came with the OP F/A kit from Polaris with the recommended jet sizes. I scored the complete kit new on E-bay and the kit included the Jets.

Thanks and I look forward to the information. I have heard conflicting information on this aspect (Jetting vs. mixture). I will probably be moving towards getting the set up from Ken at Ocean Pro today and will utilize the information you post on jetting to get the set up right.

    Thanks for the reply

Even with the suggested jetting and settings you will still want to keep a eye on your piston wash till you know it's adjusted right.Everything can affect your adjustments of were your carbs need to be. what works for one ski just like your maybe be alittle different for yours, but you should be close.

So true. I would rather be "fat" and happy than "skinny" and sad .

Talked to Ken this evening and he was extrmely helpful and I think I have some good information to go on.

Once I get them on and dialed in I will share the set up if anyone is interested.

    Thanks for your help guys.
