Help.. Boost Building
I feel pretty luck to now have too many problems with my machine at 200 hours dont get me wrong.
My boost pressure seems like its leaking or something. unless i have it gassed and run it real hard it wont accelerate with much more than 7 psi. But after i get going the boost levels will reach about 11. i have the BOV block off. and my top speeds are still pretty good. hittin 68-69 with the ride plate. my engine feels pretty good to me. thinkin maybe the supercharger is going but wondering if anyone has any additional help. loose belt? MY ACCELERATION SUCKS UNLESS I AM RUNNING IT WOT CONSTANTLY. i really have to "pump or build" pressure it seams. I have taken care of the engine. a lot of oil changes and kept the oil levels as good as i can. its not slow but now like it was. and the low boost levels that i have from a stop seem wrong. Arent i suppose to get full boost and rpm as soon as i hit it. i did before. also my rpms are directly correlated to my boost so i know its not the guage. and help would be great.

Simple things first - check the belt. Your syptoms are exactly what a loose/slipping SC belt would cause.

ya. kinda thinkin that too. ill crank it down a bit and see what happens. shouldnt need a new belt yet should i?
i dont have a shop manual either. its just the big bolt next to the cover right?

I just had my 100 hr service(93 hrs) done by my local dealer, and I had them replace the belt, it had a small crack at the seam and a couple of gouges in the belt it self, the tightness was still with in specs, but why take a chance?(belt is only 40.90 retail) Ill post pics on my project page later on with a few other things.

also check the bolts on top of your supercharger
Mine were loose and no thredlocker on them. Also check all the hose clamps from the supercharger to the thottle body.
