ZR1 Vette Lapping Virginia International Raceway

I have been to VIR a number of times and this fucking car is rippin through the S's.

Body roll is ZERO and the car looks like its speed never falls off.

What most do not realize is how detuned the car is......2.3L of positive displacment huffer on 6.2L is good for way over 500ftlbs at 2krpm, u would have to idle for the power to fall off

Just out of curiousity I'd like to see what the new Nissan Skyline GT-R would do in comparrison on the same track.
That is a nice Corvette, I read the little article Motor Trend put out on it.

Not to be a hater, but the Skyline is heaver, with smaller rubber, I don't think I will do quite as well. This isn't 1981 where the Corvette is riding on a chassis that was state of the art in 1963. This Vette is riding on the best design tech GM can afford and produce at a profit.

I don't know why but that Nissan GTR does nothing for me. Not a fan of AWD in a sports car. It doesn't look all that great. It has more techno gismoz than an M5 (and that is saying something). While turbos have come a long way it is still a tiny little motor. It just doesn't exude the "im gonna rip your heart out and eat it" image that the Vette does. And again, I don't care how good it handles, the GTR weighs 3800 pounds, that is a NO go.
