If you followed up all you can, then report to E-bay as a non seller. Does the guy have any history on sells? If he does and has a good record, then it may be a communication problem.

Regarding the negative feedback suggestion... I know from personal experience the bull**it that can take place on ebay regarding feedback. It is hard ... extremely hard.... to get a negative feedback removed from your profile regardless of circumstances. Therefore if you leave negative feedback for someone, you can almost be assured that they will leave it for you as well. Never mind if they're right or not, it will still happen and you'll pull your hair out trying to get it removed.

best thing to do is exhaust ALL possibilities of resolution with the seller/buyer first before pulling out the big guns. Paypal resolution is a lot more efficient than ebay resolution is....

    caveat emptor

I just keep my auctions based on personal contact or high # of posative feedbacks. Thankfully I've only been bitten once so I'm not too shy.
