super charger washers on RXP 2008
I wonder if any of you had an officail confirmed information, that Sea Doo replaced the ceramic washers with metal set on the 2008 (RXP) models,
Or if any of you had the chance to inspect that him self,?
Im torn to buy RXP 2007 for a reduced price or the 2008 model,
It is the washer issue, not the price will make my mind, !!
please I need your help all,

If its a metal washer issue, then get the '07 and install or have them installed. The washers are only $110.

07 has ceramic washers wich can easily be changed here is the link
it would cost you labor to have them installed or just send it to Jerry and he can install them for you for $50
and you must add labour to take off and put back the supercharger in the ski plus shipping required
now it depends on you wich one you want $$$

The 08's are probably the coated metal washers anyway.....

If you are not going for an X model...then i'd buy a new but 07 model and upgrade the washers with some aftermarket ones...then you'd get the 07 buy deal....with the best washers out there...!

no, it is not an (x), it a regular RXP, but Im thinking if the 08 model comes with metal washer it might be better to save the headech,

Not only do the 08's come with metal washers they also come with a fixture that pumps oil down the center of the supercharger shaft that gives the clutch a constant supply of oil.
The 08 supercharger assembly is far superior.

If not an X then don't bother with the '08 rxp. You can get a good deal on a leftover '07 and it will be cheaper to just change your washers. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself just send it to Jerry. He can change them for you, check there slip and get it back to you fast. All you have to do is take it off and put it on. It's not that hard to do.
