For myself, i got the Slip ring type white metal one, the anchor is coated in poly white & stored in my center floor ski trap.

For a boat they do recommend an achor that has the ability to dig into the bottom ground so it stays hooked there, then when you want to remove it, you got to pull it a bit with the boat's power so it unhook from the bottom, then you can pull it up.

---Do not forget you need a chain lenght (they also make a white poly coated chain lenght) between the anchor and the rope, this prevent the anchor for unhooking to the bottom each time your boat is fronting a wave (the chain takes the springing action and then falls down & again...with a rope directly attached to tha anchor, each time you'D be moved by a wave, the anchor would be lifted from the bottom....(not desired).

Yup' I bought the same anchor as jeepster at my local boaters world store. I bought the Black coated 6lb. for my 2006 Sea Doo Sportster.

I use the small folding Kwick Tech the storage bag is padded and keep it in the dash area storage compartment next to the extinguisher. I would not use this model on anything bigger than the 150 and even that may be pushing it. My anchor use would be classified as almost never.

WOW! Those HydroBubble Anchors are very nice. I do have a problem sometimes with anchoring and that looks like a great solution. I like how it breaks downs into 2 seprate pieces. Price is a little steep at $128.00 but probably worth it if it works that nicely. So anybody using one of these HydroBubble Anchors? If so how do you like it?

I'm 99.9% of the time zipping around a lake and have never had a need for an anchor, but if I ever take it out to the ocean, I know I'd need one. I don't want to keep a traditional anchor in a locker because of extra weight, space, and it would fly around everywhere. I was thinking that a couple of these screw-type anchors would serve the purpose for the S150; anyone ever use one?:

Seems to me that something that screws into the sand would go in easier and hold better; and for only 15 bucks, I might test one out.
