How do I repair hull scratches?

I bought a '92 Polaris SL650 at the end of last summer. I am swapping in a 780 engine with a dry pipe and a couple other minor things. Anyways, The hull has some pretty good scratches underneath it. What can I do to fill the scratches and repaint it? I was thinking a little bondo filler in the scratches, but then again I've never worked with fiberglass hulls so I don't know if the bondo could stand up to the abuse of jumping wake and that type of thing. What would be the bect way for me to repair them. I'm probably going to be using Brightside paint on the bottom. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

I may have to try this stuff. The bottom of my first Hurricane project is pretty beat up. Do they still make that Solar product where the sun light cures it? I remeber seeing it years ago in the magazines.

When using the Marine-tex putty, can I spread it with a plastic spreader like you would use with bondo? The reason I ask is because the whole bottom side of the ski is scratched up. If I went scratch by scratch, it would take me a year to get them all. None of them are very deep.

How deep are the scratches? I got a color match gel coat repair kit from overtons a while a go. I'm thinking use this Marine-tex on the deep ones or all of them and then go over it with the gel-coat

It looks like it's just been beached on a bank with small rocks. None of them are real deep. In fact, I'm sure it would hold up just fine the way it is. I'm only wanting to smooth them out for cosmetic reasons. I am doing a color change on the whole ski and I want it to be slick. I wish it was just as easy as using a little bondo on it. I'm just not sure if bondo is made to stand up to that kind of abuse. Anyone know?

You can get chopped glass fiberglass filler at the auto parts store. Use a plastic spreader then sand it back smothe. Makes filling those nicks and scratches quick.

Did you do a search on the topic? I thought I read somewhere quite a while back that bondo was a no no.
