Help with cleaning and waxing the GPR...

I can`t seem to search/find a direct thread that relates to cleaning and caring for our hulls, the GPR specifically.
unfortunately, the yard bird who prepped my machine scratched the crap out of the visor and top hull. Of course I don`t see it until I`m 70 miles back to my house ...
What can I do about the scratches. I kinda think the swirls will come anyway from a sponge or chaniel mit even if I wash it.

what are some of the products and techniques you guys use to care for your GPR`s?
    from bow to stern...
please include engine bay as well... Thanks...PR...

Also can I remove some of the stock decals? directly behind the seat on the hull stern is a large area flat black decal with warning labels, I just want to take off the labels and leave the flat black one on there, anyone have experience with this? Thanks...

yes you can take off the warning labels and decals if your dealer doesn't mind, some a**hole dealers will say that a simple thing like that will void the warranty and as for the engine bay everytime i ride i spray wd-40 over it to prevent rust not too sure about waxing the hull or what to use..

I use Plexus on everything. Its a plastic polish/wax that protects the entire boat. It was designed for motorcycles and can be found at most cycle shops.
You will never use anything else after you've tried it.
