There were three runs of castings made, if I remember right. The latest is the best to get, but they are pretty rare now. MicroTouch sold them, and they were outlawed after a season from IJSBA racing. So Mel Miller made a "legal" version of a 920 from stock cylinders. You will probably only find the complete engine now, which is the best way to go anyway. The cylinders have all been sold out for years. They have no intentions of casting any more, due to lack of demand. VE stands for Versatile Enginnering.

I have a design for custom sleeves that fixes the major downfall of the VE (Ring End Gap going through a transfer port) if you ever find a cylinder and need a set of sleeves.

It's funny that I never had that problem David. Do you remember what size pistons you were running when you had that occur?

I sold mine to a guy in NY that was willing to pay a killer pirice for it. He injested water within 2 weeks and kiled it. Miller rebuilt it for him and he ran it for about another year. The cylinder/head was on ebay about 1 month ago and sold for a measily $350. It's now on a second overbore so you can't get Honda pistons for it anymore. A local guy bought it on ebay for $350 and listed it within a week on pwctoday for $1100 I believe.

From what I understand, pro-x pistons are not the prefered. I hear that Miller has a Weisco made that is a direct replacement for the OEM Honda. $250 each.

Hey Cosmic, what part of SC do you live in? My uncle lives in Chapin, on Lake Murray. I'll be visiting this spring if you want to hook up for a ride.
