    pro 785 needs advice

    i have a pro 785 and after getting a little water in the electrical box i no longer have spark in any of the three plugs. does anyone have any advice where to start and what to do?

    start by unplugging the stator wires and ohm them out .

    If you need a good stator I have one like new.

    You might take out the circuit board and check for corrosion on the back side.

    i appreciate the advice guys, i'll try getting into tonight after work. if by chance it is the stator, how much are you asking?

    I'd check the electrical box first. Be sure to remove the board and clean all water droplets and/or condensation off the back side of it.

    thanks, when i get home this evening i'll pull the board off and clean everything up with some dielectic grease.

    i pulled the electrical board off and everything looked alright but i noticed the end of the cdi was somewhat suspect, at least in my opinion. i also made sure that all wires connected to the board were secure and yet no spark. attached is a photo of the cdi, any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

    the end looks alright but that black mark on the metal bracket doesn't look to good .

    that's just the angle of the picture, that's not actually a black mark. it's just wear the aluminum is slightly rubbed and polished.
