Talking Something new from Fountain Boys

Tommy Mike Ron Keith and Barry had hull efficiency at an incredible level before they invited me to join up.... so I have been thinking what I could do to contribute to the camp and came up with this idea. Matching Fountain hull magic , with my ultra efficient surface drive propulsion

So after much technical advise from Tommy ( hopefully he never grew tired of my daily calls) and some custom parts from Mike Smith, I finally got the project wet this weekend.

Not shown in pics is the wing I use as prop gaurd which I mount before putting in water. Its dual purpose and adds stability while protecting me from prop if I were to fall off.

For record, this idea has no affiliation with Fountain Power Boats corporation, just an idea cooked up in my head.

I know a couple guys who run hydro planes with the older 65U motors they are getting well over 100mph with direct drive props.

I am just now getting over the initial shock of your project... but I wonder, how do you keep the boat trimmed correctly ? Mechanical tabs ?

IT's about time! Just be careful. That's one hell of a cold cut slicer

Pm hydrobug gp. He is the one that uses the old school 1200 motors in his hydro's at well over 100 mph.
