    Rideplate Inserts

    Are These The Only Thing To Replace The Rideplates That I Need

    Terry, you don't need to replace them. I always reuse them.

    I GOT A RIDE PLATE FROM CLIFF AND THEY WERE BROKE OFF

    Well then you would definitely want to replace them.... or go open loop cooling

    I THOUGHT ABOUT OPEN LOOP BUT I AM ALWAYS IN SALT WATER AND DIDNT KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE THAT MIGHT MAKE IN THE FUTURE ALSO IS THE FITTING THE ONLE PIECE I REPLACE OR IS THERE MORE TO THAT PIECE I TOOK THE PIC OF

    gotta be aware that there are different stock rideplates.. depends what year rideplate you have if that's the right fitting or not.

    MINE IS A 06 RXP AND SO WAS CLIFFS ,,JEFFTURBO601 ORDERED THE PARTS SO I THINK THERE THE ONES

    yup those are them...

    the other end of the fitting is probably broken off and bouncing around inside the rideplate, no? or did u get lucky and it stayed in place?

    ur gonna have to split the plate and put the fittings on first then put the plate back together maybe

    the older rideplates were male threaded fittings and the rideplate top half was threaded to accept the fitting... now the new ones like what u have act similar to a bulkhead fitting

    OK THANKS GUYS I DID PULL THE PIECES OUT,SO WHEN I GET IT BACK I WILL REPLACE THEM
