    Cam results? RR or PPG

What are the hp numbers on these cams? Is there a noticeable difference using one of these on a stage 3 boat?

14 HP increase on the dyno.

They make more power from 7000+ RPM's

I run the Rotax Racing on my ski and love it.

How to setup the Timing for the PPG Cam ?
Is this cam fit the RXP-X
Is the engine the same for regular RXP-X ?

be careful which cam you use. i think PPG copied the RR part#6224 racing cam. this one is made specifically for the EMS system and does not work as well with the ECU's. the RR part#4224 cam is a better choice if you are using an ECU.

RXP and RXP-X engine internals are the same with the exception of the SC oiler.

To avoid confusion we need to refer to the cams by the duration/lift spec. Or is it just a different lobe separation between the different rr cams?

the 6224 is the more aggressive of the two. it sacrifices a little low end to scream on top. it favors 9000 rpm use. the 4224 cam peaks out lower to work well with the 8500/8600 rpm of the ecu's
