    New Member!!

Hello... I have been reading on the site for a week or so now, since I have decided to purchase my own Seadoo. After doing some reasearch I have decided on an 05 Rxp. Mostly because of how much fun I had the first time I rode my uncles and I have never ridden the 150 Ultra. Anyways, I am 20 years old and from northeast Alabama. I have been into watersports since I was really young, but I have just now decided to give up on riding bikes and buy my own Seadoo. Let me know if there is anything else you guys would like to know. Thanks

#1 question - Is the ski stock? Has the ski had any issues before you purchased it....Reason for asking is IF it is stock, you MUST have the SC's ceramic clutches for metal ones....

My uncle will not sell the one he has... While he has never had trouble from his, I saw alot of posts about this thing. I am gonna wait til around March to make my purchase. This will be the first thing I do after reading on here. How much am I looking at after labor at a Seadoo shop, because I am def. not a mechaic?

Just pull the SC yourself (not hard) and send it to Jerry (GreenHulk)...You can purchase the clutches through his store, and he'll do the work (for a small fee) and send it back to you...

Since you are in Alabama, I suggest you git yer arse to MudBug in June!

Send it UPS, insure it for $1000, and you will be fine...

Mudbug is a gathering of evryone on this forum, near Jerry's home in Morgan City, LA...about 50-60 miles west/southwest of New Orleans.....in the most perfect area to ride a ski......Miles and miles of PURE GLASS water...
