    Need opinion, RXPX or RXTX

Has anyone rode these both or can compare them? I have a 04 RXP now with a stage 1 kit, thru hull, and newer stlye riva filter, blockoffs..........also have a03 GTX. How will a RXTX compare to my current RXP? How would a RXTX run to a stock RXP? I am buying one or the other this weekend and cannot for the life of me decide. I want it to be fast but I also ride in the Deleware river and it is ofter choppy untill I hit the C&D canal.
Aslo, are Gator Grips still out there? I cannot find them.............

Unless you need the extra seating capacity and want to pull people, I say buy the RXP no questions. An RXT just is not as fun to ride as an RXP.

As far as to get the p or the t that depends on riding style preference. You obviously know that cause you own both type of hulls. I have no physical contact with the new x,s but from what I have learned here, I would think that a RXTX would run with a stock rxp on top end. Now I think that from what others have expressed both x's will have some of the best hole shots out there and maybe the same or better than stage 3 skis.

This might not help with your decision but it's a point of consideration to ponder. I originally bought a 3 seater in '03 with the idea that it would be a family, towing, and good way to sell the purchase to the wife. That first year I couldn't get anyone to go out with me and it wasn't much fun to toss around because it just isn't as nimble (185 horse). Then the RXP came out in '04 so I latched onto that one and love it probably for the same reasons you love yours. I'm now getting the RXP-X without even second guessing my decision. I don't plan on long runs in really choppy waters but if I did I would enjoy bouncing around on the 2 seater rather than just cutting through it on the couch.

    Again - just my opinion.

I got the RXT X for the reason that I do all my driving on the st.lawrence river and ontario lake. 90% of the time there is nothing but huge boat wake and chop. The T will beat the P anyday of the week in a chop. The P does pull away on glass and is more fun to throw around, so it would be up to you.

you can do a lot more with the rxt, like towing inflatable toys and ski's or wakeboarding.
