OK guys I TESTED mods today and want your thoughts.

Well this is what I got.

    RRIC
    Riva Vortec with Les's washiers
    4inch intake
    PPG powerpipe
    Riva grate
    Hole's filled
    Solas 14-19

Take off is just extreme in my mind. MEAN.
I think boost is LOW. 7.3 to 7.5 Dynotune gauge.
I was able to pull 8100RPM's at 72.5 mph. I was really hoping for more. this was with about 1/3 tank of gas.

Before with just RRIC and stock airbox and 14-19 70.5 at 8100
    and stock I was 68 at 8000.

    Anyway what do ya'll think?

OH yea and I lost my UMI steering today??? I didn't tighten the nut enough and in a turn it pulled wright out. Found everything but the nut.

That is about exactly what I got last year with a similar setup ... same rpm, speed, boost, etc ... sounds normal to me.

what's the temps down there now? with 65 degree air, i'm running 8.2 psi of boost with the STOCK s/c impeller ... i was pretty shocked myself... but that's with 4" intake for only 100% outside 65 degree air on a dynotune gauge

    A 14/19 on a stage II RXP ? I thought the stage 2 was like a 15/20

Those speeds seem right in line for that prop at those rpms but overall it seems low for a ski with a external intercooler...

    Maybe that's just me though?

This are the same rpm's and top end speed numbers that most of our locals stage II RXP'S are running in our mid 80 to 90 deg air.

Yes, I was out in a cool 93 today. But I thought I should see 8p.s.i of boost?
I guess not in the Heat?

I will say this much, this thing has some awesome holeshot. It was by far the fastest it has ever felt, but my goal was 75in summer heat.

So what do I do next?

Oh, Jerry! This UMI setup felt awesome. I loved it. I was able to ride standing up better and boy can I take a turn now.

Yeah, my thought also. i would try a 15/20 and see what rpm,s your able to pull, then maybe have a repitch done do find the sweet spot!
