keeps you planted in the rough water meaning it will kill your top speed on the glass ,

If you ride in light to heavy chop it will help keep the pump filled with water. Ie you will go faster in the chop. Now on glass water, it will scrub a small amount of speed. 1-2 MPH depending on the grate you go with. I always use an aftermarket grate on my Polari, as I normaly find myself in choppy water.

The R&D grate will also help you after the spin to load the pump to shoot. I've never used the O/P plate,But I got one coming. The O/P has the cuts in it so it should help with tight cornering. Just go for both...That's what we do, Gotta have it all.

if you like to play in the chop get the grate first then when you want the lost back get the plate

another question like above , what do you ride ? we could tell ya to chop or get new sponsons also since you like to play around ,

take in mind all these parts some how make it to the race skis back in the day so it takes turning , rough water ( othere wake ) and top speed in to play depending on your combination ,

op plate is nice want to try it , im useing a batwing ride plate on my 3 seater ,
