    gasket kit shopping

im going to finish tearing down ,

wondering if all this non oem gaskets are as good or not im gonna hate calling randy for this one

also how do you guys get to the bolts hold the main pipe on covered by fiber rim of the seat platform , i guess you un-do the solid motor mounts then scoot it over ,

if i got the motor down to just the stator cover and clys is it to much for me and my buddy to warp starps and pull it out by hand ,

i know we hate s*T kits but why? are the ebay guys anygood ?

If you have any size to you, you should be able to pull the engine your self. However, if you have someone handy it wouldn't hurt.

I have always heard goo things about the ebay gaskets. Are you going to rebuild it your self or have someone do it?

only bolts on , im going for what the average joe can build on a budget so it will be a single pipe hot rod ,

    new top end , new crank , jet works valve , 40 mm cdkII's , teu f/as , waterbox , polished exhuast ports , 93 hot seat domes , cdi retune ,

pump " 6 degree wedge , rebuilt 6 vein and batwing ride plate and the prop is still left up to thought becuase we all know thats what makes or breaks the ski

looks like its gonna be a fun build and will basiclly make my ski brand new ,

while all the guts are out ill do some putty and patch work on the bottom to get it smooth ,

For me, it's nothing but OEM gaskets. I'm sure the others are just fine and work, but I find the OEM to be of a little better quality...you get what you pay for I always say.

I've ran WSM's just fine and have even made some of my own paper ones when in a bind.

    Quality is priceless

My gasket kits are made by the OEM Polaris manufacturer, and are very reasonably priced.. There are many other good gasket companys out there, but why take a chance on having to pull the motor down twice for a bad fitting gasket or crank seal?

Here's a link to my gasket prices, and I have tons more that aren't listed. http://www.watcon.com/Gaskets.htm

    Thanks,
    Randy
