Where to ride in Dania/Ft Lauderdale?
I'm back from China. What a nightmare. Anyways, I'm going to my union's school in Dania to be trained on some new navigation equipment for a few weeks, and was planning on towing the SLX and (hopefully) a new SX-R down. But where do I launch? Where is the good riding? Who do I need to watch out for?
Any local info would be appreciated!

Here....off the beaten path....next to a no "no wake" zone...(that would mean you can play)
And here.....wide canal, no law enforcement 99% of the time

Cool! Thanks for the links. Are there any convenient places to launch with ocean access? Never ridden a ski in the ocean before.

Haulover Park to the South sucks. I drove down there one time to check it out and gagged. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...&t=h&z=18&om=0 South of this park are some islands you can beach on.
But by far for ease of use and located close enough to the ocean and areas where you can play, go to the first list in my other post. Very quiet park that pretty much is only used by locals. John Lloyd State Park would be my second choice.

Awesome! Thanks for the tips. My SL650 taught me to never ride alone! I used to be in Port Everglades once a week, I worked on the tanker Seabulk Trader for the past 17 years. I even drove the tug New River once! Looking forward to exploring the area on a ski, though!
