    Not too bad

I ran 69.4 this weekend on the 97. It is now time to pull out the pump and change the impeller housing and get the prop cleaned up. The next time I post speeds, I hope to be over 70.

great news you are almost there -keep up the good work and progress! what rpm's were you turning? are you going to repitch or just have it trued? make sure to have them check pitch when you send it in

The last two times out, I have not been able to get the tach to work. It reading about 6,000 RPMS. I even wrapped the wire around all three near the coils and I still could not get it to read right.

Mark, I have not decided if I am going to get it repitched or just trued, checked, & cleaned up. It has some cavitation burns and my impeller liner was on the far end of the spec last time I checked. I am sure it is just out of spec by now.

Update, the GP ran 69.4 again, this time in 70 degree weather. My GP looses less than 1 mph between the winter & summer. The weather does not have a big effect for whatever reason on my GP, it is very consistent.

In May it was 90 degrees it ran 69.0. At Mudbug it ran 68.5 all weekend. The weekend before last it ran 69.4 in 58 degree temps, and this past weekend 69.4 in 70 degree temps.

Just it being 60-70 instead of 90+ degrees.
